True Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Speaker System — 3-Way Flagship
The uStream Three runs three separate drivers — a 76mm silk tweeter, a 120mm ceramic aluminium mid-range, and a 165mm ceramic aluminium woofer. Each has its own dedicated Texas Instruments amplifier. Tri-wired. 120W RMS per channel. At no point in the signal path does any driver share an amplifier with another. This is what separation between instruments sounds like when it is not being compromised.
The ceramic aluminium diaphragm on the mid and bass drivers is rigid enough to control at high excursion and light enough not to colour the sound. The silk tweeter handles the top end without hardness. At 500mm tall and 8.5kg per cabinet, the Three is not a speaker you move around. It is a speaker you set up once and stop thinking about, because there is nothing left to improve.
OPTICAL and HDMI ARC inputs sit on the rear of the left speaker. Connect to a television and the Three replaces a cinema system. The stereo soundstage at this power level and driver separation produces a width and depth that surround sound formats attempt to simulate with processing. The Three achieves it with physics.
Amazon Alexa and Google Home integration make it voice-controllable as a whole-home system. A WiiM Mini brings AirPlay 2 and hi-res streaming. The uStream Three is the top of a range designed to work together — you can start with the Cube and end here, and everything connects to the same ecosystem without a single incompatibility.
